Urea App | Hyderabad, June 20 (Namaste Telangana): Officials have advised the farmers that urea will be booked and given to the farmers if they come to Rythuvedika at 3 pm on Saturday in Rama Reddy of Kamareddy district. Farmers arrived in large numbers at the same time. Within moments the entire stock was empty. On being told this, the farmers got angry and destroyed the furniture in Rythuvedika. Urea put in the app showed blank within minutes. It showed that the stock was exhausted within two or three minutes of the booking. This is not only in Rama Reddy.. the same situation exists across the state. Urea app was frozen in most of the districts on Saturday. No matter how many times the farmers tried, they could not open. Due to this, the farmers faced severe difficulties for urea booking. It is noteworthy that in the districts where the app is open, it shows nil stock within minutes of stocking. It is noteworthy that the farmers are saying that they do not believe that the government will give urea after the rains, so they are taking urea earlier.
Yamatippalu with the app
Farmers are in dire straits with urea app. In some places there are problems in opening and in other places in booking. In some other places the error shows that the details of the farmers do not match. In some other places, after the completion of urea booking, in the history, the respective farmers are not getting the receipt.
Concerns escalate
Farmers across the state are demanding to cancel the urea app, unable to bear the difficulties. Daily sit-ins and protests are being held at many places against the Urea application. To this extent, on Saturday, farmers held a rally in several places in Medak, Sirisilla, Kamareddy districts and in Domakonda, demanding to cancel the urea app. They raised slogans against the government.
The stock is gone within minutes
Farmers are complaining that the stock is showing nil within a few minutes of the arrival of urea stock. It is known that the owners of fertilizer shops are making bookings by arranging special people for their close friends. Farmers who are educated and have smartphones are booking immediately. As a result, urea is not booked for most of the farmers. Farmers who are not educated and do not have smartphones are left as victims. Farmers are very angry with this.
Stock twice a day
In the past, Sarkar leaders have said that farmers can book urea anytime sitting at their homes through the app. But that is not the case at the field level. Urea is available in the app only twice a day. Once at 6 am and again at 3 pm they are stocking. The stock is empty within minutes. After that only Nostock boards are visible in the app. If the farmers do not book urea at 6 am, they have to wait again till 3 pm. If still not booked then have to wait till the next day.
Once for each district
The government is giving access to urea app to each district. This means that farmers of all districts cannot open the urea app and book at the same time. As a part of this, the government provided urea app access to Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Karimnagar and Nalgonda districts. Access is given to each district on a daily basis. It is known that the district has been divided by mandals and divisions. It is known that urea booking is given in some mandals while in other mandals it is not.
Is the government hiding urea?
There are criticisms that the government is hiding the urea that should be distributed to the farmers. It is known that no new stock has been taken out so far. It is reported that the rest of the stock in Yasangi is being put on the app little by little. As a part of this, only a limited number of mandals are given access and it is known that they are emptying immediately. It is known that the authorities are doing this to prevent the shortage. Actually the urea buffer stock at Markfed should be 5 lakh tonnes. But, currently it is known that there is only 2.15 lakh tonnes. It is reported that private dealers have another lakh tonnes. Officials are concerned that once the rains start, the stock will be depleted within 15-20 days, after which there is a risk of a shortage again.
