Chikkadapally, June 15: Unemployed people staged a lightning dharna at Chikkadapally Central Library demanding the implementation of the promises made by the Congress government and the release of 20,000 constable and SS posts. On Monday evening, the Chikkadapally unemployment JAC raised slogans against the government. They raised slogans like ‘No 5 thousand.. 20 thousand dear..’, ‘This is no kingdom, this is no kingdom.. The police arrested the unemployed people who were rallying towards Chikkadapally main road. This created some tension. Speaking on this occasion, the unemployed protested that it was unfair to arrest them who were protesting peacefully. They warned that their movement cannot be crushed with arrests. It is stated that 20 thousand constable and SSI posts should be filled. They demanded that the JEO 46 should be canceled and the age limit should be increased to 36 years for constable candidates and 38 years for SSC candidates.

On this occasion, the unemployed demanded that the notification with 20,000 SC and Constable jobs and the DSC notification with 25,000 jobs be released immediately. They wanted to increase the number of police posts from 5 thousand to 20 thousand. He appealed to fill 25 thousand teacher posts through Mega DSC. They demanded to release notifications for 2 lakh government jobs as promised during the election. Otherwise, he warned that the Congress party will be crushed.
