Hyderabad, June 15 (Namaste Telangana): The project monitoring unit monitoring the tenders has revealed that the 200 crore golmal in food provision (grocery equipment) items related to gurukulas and welfare hostels is false. In this regard, PMU Chairman and SC Gurukula Society Secretary issued a statement on Monday. The Chairman of PMU responded to the article published in ‘Namaste Telangana’ saying that food provision tenders are a scam. He said that still the food provision tender has not been finalised. It was explained that the evaluation of the submitted bids is going on and still the prices of the food provision items have not been finalised. Moreover, it was explained that it is not appropriate to compare the institutional prices of home delivery with all expenses included. GST, transport, loading/unloading and door-delivery charges for more than 3000 companies spread over 33 districts, including remote tribal and agency areas, will be included in the tender prices, he said.
