Some websites have put up for sale the personal data of lakhs of students who appeared for the recent CUTE and NEET exams.
They have all the student’s name, father’s name, city, phone number, Aadhaar number, educational qualification, e-mail and address details. Many illegal sites including studentdataprovider.com, studentdatabase.com, studentdatahub.com have put their data up for sale. Thousand to Rs. Under 10 thousand, this data is being sold to those who need it. The data of these students are bought by private educational institutions and financial institutions.
