Hyderabad, July 13 (Namaste Telangana): MLC L Ramana said that there are many doubts among people about Special Intensive Revision (SIR). It has been clarified that the responsibility of rescue is on the Election Commission. They demanded to extend the registration deadline immediately. KCR and KTR reminded that BRS BLAs should be alert. Party leaders Karne Prabhakar, Y Satish Reddy, Sumitra Anand and Abhilash Rangineni spoke to reporters at Telangana Bhavan on Monday. Nine members of the party in the ‘Sir’ committee said that they have examined the process in all the districts. He accused the government of failing to distribute the ‘SIR’ application forms. It has been revealed that only 37 percent of the forms have been filled so far. He criticized that the BLOs were sent to the field without proper training.

Negligence in registration of ‘Sir’: Karne

Former MLC Karne Prabhakar demanded that the Election Commission should act transparently in the ‘Sir’ process. He reminded that petitions have already been submitted several times on behalf of BRS. It is regrettable that their suggestions were not taken into consideration. He said that it is clear that the Election Commission is not prepared for ‘Sir’. He criticized that there seems to be negligence in distribution of forms and registration of voter details. ‘Nagarsahebkunta MD Islam committed suicide fearing to lose his vote. NDO said that ‘SIR’ forms should be submitted in High School in Ethurunagaram. Duyyabatta said that these incidents are a reflection of the election commission’s negligence. They demanded that the BLOs should go door to door and register the details of the voters and review them regularly at the district level.

Sarkar failed in management: Satish Reddy

Y Satish Reddy, the former chairman of the corporation, said that the Congress government had failed miserably in handling ‘Sir’. He commented that the right to vote is very important in a democracy. They expressed concern that there is a risk of issuing notices to 50 to 60 lakh voters due to errors in the process. He warned that Revanth Sarkar will be held responsible if the vote of any one of the eligible is lost. Duyyabatta said that the Election Commission is looking for a way to fix it. It is alleged that the BLOs are sitting in tents instead of going to their houses. It is said that only 13 percent completion in Hyderabad is worrying.
