- Do not use NDSA as an excuse to stop the pump house water lift
- It is only an advisory body, not a regulatory body
- Discrimination against Polavaram in AP.. Why Kaleswaram project?
- Former MP Boinapally Vinodkumar fires on the Congress government
Hyderabad, July 15 (Namaste Telangana): Former MP Boinapally Vinodkumar has criticized Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for giving more priority to political hatred than the interests of the state. Speaking to reporters at Telangana Bhawan on Wednesday, he criticized the Congress government’s approach in managing projects in the state. It has been clarified that NDSA (National Dam Safety Authority) is only an advisory body and not a regulatory body. On this occasion, it was recalled that in the report given by NDSA 16 months ago, the state government is the owner of the management of the projects. He criticized that the government is stopping the projects by using NDSA as an excuse only because of the political party. They flagged that even though they agreed to lift water from the Kannepally pump house in rainy conditions, the government turned a deaf ear. They expressed their concern that if the water is not lifted, soon there will be no water to wash the face in Hyderabad.
Discrimination against Kaleswaram is not appropriate..
Showing the Polavaram project as an example, Vinodkumar explained the responsibility of the government to follow in the management of projects. These points were mentioned based on the annual report of ‘Polavaram Project Authority’. On this occasion, he reminded that about improper planning, design failures, quality defects, proper investigation or loss of around Rs.9,600.16 crores were caused in the Polavaram project. However, the center has recognized the Polavaram project as a ‘national project’. In the case of Polavaram, the NDSA was never obstructed, but in the case of Kaleswaram, they did not understand why they were showing discrimination. He alleged that the NDSA is only an advisory body and the Congress government is only using the NDSA report as an excuse for party achievement. Vinod Kumar reminded that despite the ‘snake-mongoose’ political feud between Chandrababu and Jagan, the construction of the Polavaram project was not stopped in the interests of the state. The Telangana government also wants to show that political maturity. It is advised to avoid politics and work responsibly in the case of projects in the state. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who had said that he would do politics only during the election period and focus on development during the rest of the time, now insisted that he should stick to that word. BRSV state president Gellu Srinivasyadav and former chairman of the corporation Venkateshwar Reddy participated in the meeting.
