Telangana is once again being deceived by unseen conspiracies. If Kaleswarar is being dropped and Godavari water is being released below, then Karnataka and AP are working together on Tungabhadra to prevent Krishna water from reaching Telangana.

There is currently a flood of 1 lakh 22 thousand cusecs in Godavari. That means the flow of 11 TMC in another calculation. It is expected that a similar level of flood will occur in Pranahita for the next week. This water is the elixir for Telangana cultivation when the shadows of poverty are looming. But.. what is Revanth Sarkar doing? Leaving our crops to the wind and letting the flood down. On the one hand, if AP is trying to drain our waters with Polavaram-Banakachar, the Revanth government is giving up and letting the flood go downstream. Leaving Kaleswaram, Godavari is near to AP.
And what is going on in Krishna? AP and Karnataka are joining hands to prevent Telangana from getting its drinking water. If Karnataka is diverting Krishna water with illegal projects above, then AP is plotting to dry up Jurala and Srisailam. CM Babu, who has cut a knife on the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project, has tried his best to block it with letters in the past. Now the swords of conspiracies are sharpened even more when people who are favorable to him come to power. Both Godavari and Krishna have been bypassed and they are plotting to sacrifice Telangana. The Congress government, which is used to the elbows of foreign rulers, is indulging in conspiracies to beat the soil in the mouth of the Telangana farmer for Babu.
(Gundala Krishna, Macham Ravikumar)
Hyderabad City Bureau Chief Spokesperson/Hyderabad, July 7 (Namaste Telangana): Telangana is once again being deceived by unseen conspiracies. If Kaleswarar is being dropped and Godavari water is being released below, then Karnataka and AP are working together on Tungabhadra to prevent Krishna water from reaching Telangana. As a result, the alarm bells are ringing that this land, which has been dying for black water for six decades, will turn into a desert again. If this land became barren during Nadu Parai’s regime, today there are conspiracies going around in Palamuru Biddah’s regime. It is known that Telangana itself is a danger to Chandrababu in his first term and created serious disturbances with a series of complaints to the center on the projects of this region. Now seeing that his people are ruling the kingdom, he is plotting to deprive Telangana of Krishna water forever.
Krishnamma is bringing up conspiracy projects to stop him from crossing Karnataka and entering Telangana. He is not only indirectly cooperating with the state of Karnataka to increase the capacity of Almatti on the Pradhan Krishna, but he is making a huge sketch to divert the water that has been designed for small projects on Bhima and Tungabhadra. Thus, he is blocking the Krishna waters from entering the Jurala and Srisailam reservoirs which are the lifeline of southern Telangana.
At the same time, he is making plans to block Telangana lands by moving Godavari waters to Seemandhra areas dependent on Srisailam and Nagarjunasagar with Polavaram and Polavaram-Banakacharla projects. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who declares himself to be the child of Palamuru, has not foiled all these conspiracies.. The people of Telangana are worried about the fact that Babu’s dice are being implemented.
Krishnamma was imprisoned during the union regime
Southern Telangana should be greened with the Upper Krishna project before joining Andhra Pradesh. But meeting in AP seems to have shattered all those dreams. After that, Nagarjunasagar and Srisailam were constructed without considering the interests of Telangana, and since then all the Telangana lands have become barren forever. The facility of using Telangana drop water from Srisailam did not come. Nagarjunasagar left canal is lower compared to right canal. Moreover, the left canal was designed to re-enter Andhra and provide irrigation water there.
Justice Bachawat, who acted as the Chairman of the Bachawat Tribunal, understood the poverty and discrimination of this region and started the Jurala project. However, the Union rulers could not completely survive it. Even though huge projects have been undertaken under Jalayajna, no water has flowed into the waste lands of Telangana. As a result, when Telangana was formed, it did not even have the capacity to handle ten TMCs worth of Krishna water on its own. Based on this, one can understand how much Telangana has lost during its six decades of rule.
KCR created water reservoirs
The Krishna water storage capacity, which was small at the time of the formation of Telangana, was converted into a water reservoir by redesigning the Krishna water storage capacity. Among the Jurala, Rajiv Bhima, Nettempadu, Koilsagar and Kalvakurti projects that were launched in the united state, only the Jurala project was completed by the time Telangana was formed. Therefore, if there was an allocation of 17 TMC for it, it was reduced to 11 TMC and the construction was taken up with nine TMC and finally the live storage was limited to seven TMC. Even if all the remaining projects are combined, Telangana is not able to lift even one TMC of water per day. The KCR government increased the allocation of Kalvakurti water from 25 TMC to 40 TMC and completed all the pending projects.
Given the capacity of Jura, it is recognized that there is no point in designing more projects on it. Focused on the Srisailam reservoir. On the one hand, as AP Pothireddypadu capacity is being increased and Srisailam is being diverted, the KCR government has taken up the Palamuru-Rangareddy lift scheme with a combined water storage capacity of 67.67 TMC. That has become a problem for Chandrababu. That is why since KCR laid the foundation stone for the project, dozens of complaints were made to the Center by the then Chandrababu government in AP. Telangana Congress tried to block the project by going to NGT and filed dozens of cases against land acquisition. However, the KCR government overcame all of them and spent Rs.27 thousand crores and completed more than 90 percent of the works to move the Krishna water from Srisailam to Uddandapur.
A conspiracy to divert Krishnamma by another route
The KCR government has prepared all the projects for diverting water from Srisailam reservoir through AP gravity. But Revanth Reddy’s government blocked all of them. At the same time, Chandrababu, who came back to power, sharpened his conspiracies again. A huge conspiracy was launched to permanently dock all the projects built by Telangana on Krishna river. First Banakacharla, then Nallamalasagar, now the Godavari-Kaveri link is sitting on the embers.
The flood in the main Krishna should reach Jura downstream beyond Almaty and Narayanpur. With the capacity increase in Almaty, Jura will get a big boost. On the other hand, Karnataka is preparing for the construction of Kolpur, Haryal, Sonna and other barrage-cum-barrages to lift even the small amount of water that comes to Jura from Bhima. Due to this, the river water stops at Rakum Da. If there is no inflow to Jura there is no chance of getting water to Srisailam.
Another important resource for Srisailam is the Tungabhadra waters. Karnataka is also preparing to build more barrage-cum-barrages along with massively increasing the storage capacity to divert them to the upstream Odissipat without reaching Srisailam.
The Chandrababu government in AP is also preparing for another high-level canal and barrage-cum-barrage to divert the Tungabhadra waters upstream. Preparations are being made for the construction of Gundrevula Barrage with a capacity of 10 TMC. A flood canal is ready to be dug parallel to the Tungabhadra High Level Canal. RDS has already completed the right canal works to divert 4 TMCs.
Due to this, the latest developments are taking place to close the two routes to Jura and thus the three routes to Srisailam. It is worrying that the Congress government, which should have sensed and thwarted these conspiracies, made dark deals and made the Congress government in Karnataka a partner in the implementation of this conspiracy.
Keep Krishnamma away from Telangana..Godavari waters to AP
While blocking the Krishna water from Karnataka to Telangana land, Chandrababu is making an offer that he will give ‘NVC for 90 TMC allocation for Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project’ through the mediation of the Centre. ‘If there are no inflows from the top, what will Telangana do with the project allocations?’ Irrigation experts are asking. If Srisailam does not receive huge inflows, there may be doubts about the condition of the projects in AP that depend on that reservoir. If water does not reach the Pothireddypadu canal and the Banakacharla junction connected to it, the Penna basin will dry up.
If water does not come from Srisailam to Nagarjunasagar, the right canal and Krishna delta will also get irrigation water, right? It may seem that. Irrigation experts say that Chandrababu has prepared another gimmick here. It is claimed that a huge plan has been made to blockade Krishnamma, dry up Telangana and ensure that water does not reach AP. The same Polavaram-Banakacharla project with Rs.80 thousand crore! Through this, the net Godavari waters are moved from Polavaram to Banakacharla junction and fill the stomach of Penna basin.
Right canal dependent on Nagarjunasagar downstream, Polavaram right canal to Krishna delta, Godavari waters with Pattiseema if required for re-vegetation. A minor flood from Nagarjunasagar with local inflows irrigates the AP Ayakattu under the left canal. It means that Krishnamma will be removed from Telangana, NVC will be given for non-flowing water and Godavari water will be moved to AP!
Madigadda fell for Polavaram!
Although 36 days have passed since the beginning of the rainy season, the flows have not started anywhere in the Godavari basin. Not a drop of water is coming from Upper Godavari and Middle Godavari. Even if it rains, not a drop of water will come down unless the Maharashtra projects are filled at the top. On the other hand, flood flows started from June 1 in Pranahita river. Already about 25 TMC of water has moved downstream to AP. Still a flood flow of one lakh cusecs continues from Pranahita into Godavari at Medigadda. Net flows continue for 10 months in Pranahita. Overall Pranahita includes net water availability.
It is in this background that Pranahita built a barrage at Medigadda after meeting Godavari to alleviate the perennial drought of Telangana. Thus, 240 TMCs have been provided an opportunity to use. If the project is fully operational, the chances of water going downstream will be reduced. Even if they go, they will reach the Sammakkasagar barrage below. Now, while the center is showing a small technical defect under the magnifying glass in the name of NDSA, the Congress government has used it as an excuse to block the Medigadda Barrage for two and a half years.
Both the BJP at the center and the Congress government in the state have the same goal. It is to pave the way for the Polavaram-Banakacharla project proposed by AP. The reason is that there is no surplus water in Godavari according to the study of central agencies. On the other hand, central agencies do not give permission for construction of projects in the name of flood waters. Funds will not be granted. Banakachars are allowed only when there are clear waters.
If Medigadda and Sammakkasagar are in use, the chances of life-threatening water going downstream will be reduced. In this background, Medigadda is being put on a boat and Sammakkasagar is being prevented from getting permits. By letting the life-saving waters go downstream, the surplus water in the Godavari is being shown and the stage is being prepared to allow Banakachars. If allowed to Banakachers under the national project Godavari-Kaveri river link tomorrow, life-saving water will be moved to AP Banakachers via Polavaram and then to Kaveri. Water rights of Telangana will be greatly disturbed.
The Tribunal is at the stage of final arguments
Irrigation experts say that all these proposals are being made as an integral part of the Polavaram-Banakacharla connection project. With this, these proposals are being placed before the Brijesh Tribunal which is at the final stage. Andhra Pradesh has already placed the black water utilization order in the form of Telangana documents before the tribunal. That is why Chandrababu will put the Polavaram-Banakacharla project before the tribunal as an antidote to this as Telangana says that they will use Godavari water instead of Krishna water. Irrigation sector experts suspect that AP is planning to save black water on a large scale and allocate it to other projects even in terms of the tribunal.
