A banned synthetic drug worth Rs 1.60 crore was seized during joint inspections by the State Excise Task Force and drug inspectors.
Hyderabad, July 7 (Namaste Telangana): A banned synthetic drug worth Rs 1.60 crore was seized during joint inspections by the State Excise Task Force and drug inspectors. On the orders of Director Drug Control and Excise Enforcement Avinash Mahanty, STF D-Team DSP Tirupati Yadav, CI Nagaraju, Drug Control Inspectors Indira Priyadarshini and Anvesh conducted inspections at the trading shop of Haima Synthesis Pvt Ltd in Nachar on Tuesday and found 5.860 kg. N-Benzylpiperazine drug was seized.
It was found that the company was bringing this drug from Gujarat and supplying it to Bangalore and Mumbai along with Hyderabad. A case has been registered against Mudigonda Eshwar of Haima Synthesis Private Limited. The accused has been handed over to Nacharam Excise Station and is being investigated.
