Gadwala, July 26: Krishnamma’s steps are now falling towards juras as it is raining above. After being released from the Narayanapur Dam in Karnataka, the water reached the Jurala project on Sunday morning. Farmers are expressing joy as the flood water is reaching Jurala which is the only project in the joint Palamuru district. At present, 22,600 cusecs of flood water is reaching Jura.

If this flow continues like this, there is a possibility that the Jurala project will soon reach the full water level. The full water level of Jurala project is 318.516 meters and currently there is 316.310 meters of water storage. The full capacity of the current project is 9.657 tmcs and currently 5.653 tmcs of water is available in the project. As the flood water is reaching the fields, the farmers are hoping for monsoon cultivation.
