Demand the PRC | Korutla, July 15: Telangana Progressive Teachers Federation (TPTF) State Secretary Bhoga Ramesh has demanded the government to immediately announce PRC for state government employees and teachers. Federation zone level meeting was held at Siddhartha school in Korutla town on Wednesday. He was present as the chief guest on this occasion and said that the Congress party demanded to implement the promises given to the government employees during the elections. He expressed his concern that even after two and a half years have passed since he said that PRC will be given within three months of coming to power, he is not paying attention to it.
He alleged that the non-implementation of the promises given is cheating the employees and teachers. If they fight for their rights, Gontemma said that it is not appropriate to portray employees and teachers in the public as if they wanted. It is mentioned that we are condemning the anti-education policies being followed by the government. They demanded an end to the unscientific policy of setting up schools with new names and reducing existing schools to 4,000 in the name of rationalization.
Concern has been expressed that many secondary grade teachers across the state are retiring without getting a single promotion in their entire service. It was requested that one principal post should be allotted to each primary school and teachers should be promoted. In 2023, it has been suggested that those who have been promoted as principals in the multi-zone and gone to different districts should be given the opportunity to transfer.
He demanded that the state of Andhra Pradesh has come forward to implement the old pension system for the teachers appointed through DSC 2003 in the united Andhra Pradesh state and the Telangana government should also come forward and implement the old pension system. TPTF District President Kokkula Ramachandram, General Secretary Edla Govardhan, Senior Leaders Ravikumar, Chinta Mohan Prasad, Raja Narasiah, Waheeduddin, Kacharla Nagaraju, Chiluka Bhaskar, Chief In-charges of various Mandals Mittapalli Rajasekhar, Bandarakanti Srinivas, Chiluveru Krishnarajan, Srinivas, Lavudya Rajaiah, Thirukovela Srinivasa Swamy participated.
