Nizamabad: Authorities have lifted the Babli Project Gates on the Godavari River in Maharashtra in the upper part of the Essarespe project. With all 14 gates, all the water stored in the barrage was left to the lower Godavari. On the orders of the Supreme Court, the Maharashtra government has ordered the Maharashtra government to open the project gates without interrupting the river from July 1 to October 28. In the wake of this, central water community officials lifted the gates on Tuesday morning and left the flood water. This process is done in the presence of the officials of the Maharashtra and Telangana Irrigation Department. Irrigation officials estimate that the lifting of the Babli Barrage gates is likely to bring a TMC flood water.
The monsoon season has passed and the months have passed, but the state is getting worse. Against this backdrop, farmers are hoping that the rains at the top will be flooded from the Babli to the flood Sriramasagar (SRSP). Officials have suggested that the water level in Godavari is rising with the release of water from Babli and the surrounding areas should be vigilant.
