Acchampet, June 11: An incident in Nagarkurnool district has come to light in Nagerkurnool district where others transferred the title of agricultural land worth Rs. The members of the farmer’s family are expressing their doubts about the role of revenue officials in this matter. According to the details given by the affected farmer’s family, there is 18 acres of land in Survey No. 78/9 in the name of Januaka Masanna of Hajipur, Acchampet mandal.
In this regard, there is Dharani Passbook and Rythu Bandhu is also getting help. Even though Masanna was alive.. without his knowledge, the title of 14 acres of land was transferred in the name of Angotu Lakpati. Similarly, the remaining four pits of land were registered in the name of Polmuri Maunika, Masanna’s granddaughter, without her knowledge, the family members said. The families of the affected farmers found out that this riot took place on February 4, 2026 in the Atchampet Tehsildar’s office.
The land in question is located along the Srisailam-Hyderabad main road and fetches a huge price in the market. Due to this, the victims are suspecting that some people have illegally carried out the conspiracy. In this process, the revenue officials are also accused of getting a huge amount of money. The matter came to know when the person who registered the land in his name tried to sell it for Rs.1.50 crore. Achampeta Tehsildar Yadaiya was asked for an explanation and he assured that this matter did not come to his attention and if it did, he would investigate and take action.
