- ‘Telangana Raksha Sena’ party clear in Delhi High Court
Hyderabad, July 8 (Namaste Telangana): Telangana Raksha Sena (TRS) will respond to the notices issued by the Election Commission of India (EC) as part of the party registration process within a week, the party’s lawyer said in the Delhi High Court. It was explained to the court that in view of the objections raised on the name of the party, as per EC’s instructions, they invited objections by publishing advertisements in the press and they have already replied to the two objections sent to them by the EC. They brought to the attention of the court that they have the right to know who and what kind of objections have been raised in the name of their party and that they should be provided with copies of all the objections. Responding to this, the judge suggested to reply to the notices issued by the EC first. After receiving the party’s reply, the Election Commission was directed to provide an opportunity to listen to their arguments individually.
