Hyderabad, July 15 (Namaste Telangana): DGP CV Anand said that the government is taking vital steps to make all educational institutions in the state drug-free and to protect the safety of students. On Wednesday, the DGP conducted a high-level review with Eagle officials. He made it clear that drugs should not have any place in educational institutions that impart discipline.
He said that it has been decided to form anti-drugs and safety committees in all educational institutions. He also conducted a review with the police officials about the establishment of this new organization on road safety. The DGP said that the Telangana Police Department has started steps towards setting up a special ‘Traffic Management and Road Safety Bureau’ to control road accidents in the state.
