Yuva Sangrama Sadassu | Hyderabad, July 17 (Namaste Telangana): The High Court granted conditional permission to the Yuva Sangrama Conference organized by the BRS party. It has been clarified that the conference can be held on the 18th from 10 am to 7 pm at Sarurnagar Indoor Stadium, Hyderabad. It ordered that the conference should be held peacefully, traffic problems should not arise on the national highway, roads should not be blocked and people should not be inconvenienced. Judge Justice T Madhavidevi on Friday ordered that no provocative speeches and comments inciting hatred should be made and all reasonable conditions imposed by the police should be followed without disturbing law and order.

At first the police did not allow it

Ranga Reddy district BRS President and former MLA Manchireddy Kishan Reddy challenged in the High Court after the police did not give permission for the BRS ‘Yuva Sangrama Sadassu’. A lunch motion petition was filed seeking an urgent inquiry into the fact that the Commissioner of Police did not take any decision on the application for the permission of the House. Advocate TV Ramana Rao argued on behalf of the petitioner. It was explained to the court that this conference is being held to discuss the problems faced by the unemployed youth across the state. They argued that they have completed all the arrangements for the assembly, provided vehicle parking facilities, installed 25 CCTV cameras for security, installed 15 mobile toilets, paid fire department fees, stadium rent, etc., but the police did not grant permission.

The court rejected the government’s argument

Advocate Mahesh Raje, appearing for the government, told the court that there is a risk of law and order problem as there is a possibility that the leaders of the student unions under the auspices of the Unemployment JAC will also participate in the conference. It was argued that the blockade of the national highway would cause serious disruption to traffic and the report of the intelligence agencies also indicated the same. Examining the government’s arguments, the High Court made it clear that it would not be justified to deny permission to a democratically organized assembly merely on the grounds of intelligence reports or previous cases against some student leaders. Article 19 of the Constitution states that every political party and every citizen has the right to hold peaceful meetings. It opined that the right cannot be limited without evidence. It issued final orders granting conditional permission to the conference.

This judgment is a slap in the face to Revanth Sarkar

The High Court’s permission for the BRS Yuva Sangrama Conference is a blow to the government. The Congress government has conspired to block this conference. BRS will fight for the unemployed youth no matter how many obstacles the government creates. We will not leave the government until the promises in the Youth Declaration are fulfilled. The unemployed should come to the assembly in large numbers and open the eyes of Revanth Sarkar.

– Vadviraju Ravichandra, Leader of BRS Parliamentary Party
