Shivvampeta, May 17: Former minister and MLA Sunithalakshmareddy questioned that this is the government that does not buy grain and solve the shortage of trucks. He expressed his concern that due to lack of trucks, they are not able to harvest the grain and the farmers are facing serious difficulties due to the delay in moving the grain. On Sunday, she inspected wood buying centers in Chinnagottimukla and Chennapur villages of Shivvampeta mandal of Medak district and inquired about the farmers’ problems.
The farmers demanded that the authorities should be responsible for sowing wheat. He questioned why the farmers were being made to suffer till unloading at the rice mill. Called and spoke to the Additional Collector. They asked why the truck sheet should be given to the farmers as soon as the grain is harvested, but not until it is unloaded at the rice mill. He asked that all the wood is in the purchase centers and what is the condition of it.
