Karimnagar Telangana Chowk, July 21: CPI former MLA Chada Venkata Reddy has hit out at the government saying that it is not appropriate to make political criticism when farmers are suffering from drought. They demanded that the Medigadda pillars be repaired and immediately provided for cultivation and drinking water. He spoke to the media in Karimnagar on Tuesday. He pointed out that since Telangana is at a high altitude, there is a possibility of diverting the water through a lift. He said that the state government should reconsider the Kalesharvam project, which was built at a cost of crores. Central experts have been asked to carry out repairs immediately as per instructions.
