This was revealed by the Unified District Information System (Yudies) 2024-25. In the 2022-23 academic year, one-class enrollment government has 40% of the school and 60% of the private. It reached 32 in government schools and 68 per cent of the private schools by 2023 -24. By 2024-25, thirty students joined the private and a quarter of the children joined the government schools. Within these three years, the enrollment of government schools fell by 14%. If this situation persists, the number of zero enrollment schools will increase significantly.
