The fed up farmers took to the roads at many places on Wednesday and expressed their anger.
They vented their anger against the government with sit-ins and protests. The Congress government has finally come down after bringing the online truck sheet system in the purchase of sandalwood grain, which has caused more problems to the farmers. On 28th of this month, Namaste Telangana responded with a special article titled ‘Raithanna Nethina ‘Trucksheet’ and stopped the online trucksheet system. It ordered the officials to buy in the old way.
Farmers write in Vadlakonda
Farmers in Vadlakonda of Jangama district took out a mass protest on Wednesday demanding to buy grain and immediately transport it to the mills. Stationed on Janagama-Husnabad main road. BRS leaders and activists staged a protest with placards at Rajavaram in Chilpuru mandal of Janagama district on Wednesday, expressing anger that MLA Kadiam Srihari, who joined the Congress with a thirst for power, did not pay attention to the farmers’ problems. Former minister Errabelli criticized that the Congress government failed in the purchase of grain and cotton. He spoke at a meeting of BRS key workers in Parvatgiri of Warangal district on Wednesday. They said that the government is not paying attention to the problems of the farmers. He criticized Rythu Bandhu that the aid was given only up to two acres and the hands were washed away. It is stated that the government has failed to provide affordable prices and not giving bonus to Sannavads.
Prices of cotton farmers

In Kundaram of Lingalaghanapuram mandal of Janagama district, the farmers are frustrated as the purchase of cotton has stopped. The load stopped as vehicles were not provided to move around 4 thousand bags to the warehouses.
Tractors and lorries lined up at rice mills

Tractors and lorries coming with a load of wood are running at rice mills in Husnabad area of Siddipet district. There is not enough space in the mills or the drivers have to wait on the roads for hours with wood. Around 100 to 150 vehicles are waiting in front of each mill. Once these are unloaded and the truck sheet is completed, the money will be credited to the farmers’ accounts. Growing paddy is one step but selling them is becoming another step. The farmer who wants to go to work has to wait for more days in the name of truck sheet. Farmers are demanding that the new method should be stopped and the old method should be purchased.
