Jagatyala, July 27 (Namaste Telangana)/Jagitala: Municipal authorities on Sunday demolished the construction of Indiramma houses in Nukapelli in the town of Jagitala. Almost a hundred buildings in different stages have been demolished. Beneficiaries were worried about the incident. Former minister Jeevan Reddy also expressed outrage over the decision of the authorities. The Nukapelli Urban Colony is about 9 km from the center of Jagitala district. In 2008, Jeevan Reddy, who was the minister of the Road Buildings, tried to establish another 150 acres of land for 25 acres of state land near Nukapelli. 4000 people from Jagatyala town have been given rails for the construction of Indiramma houses and some facilities in the colony have been provided. The government has provided subsidy and loan facilities for the construction of Indiramma houses. About 700 people have completed the construction of houses. Some have come to residence. Many people have been able to complete the construction of the house, but the money is not enough. In 2018, the BRS government has granted funds for the construction of 4,520 double bedroom houses at the Indiramma Colony in Nukapally.
