Drought Allowance is a relief paid by the government to employees and pensioners to reduce the impact of inflation. According to the high prices and price index, the government should issue DAs from time to time. There are 3.6 lakh government employees and 2.88 lakh pensioners in the state. They have to come as Thanchan at the rate of one DA every six months. But, the Congress government is begging the DAs. Only one DA is released at a time. By the time this DA was released, another DA was coming. The central government releases DAs every six months. The employees, who are extremely angry at the delay in the release of DAs, are criticizing the state government and union leaders on social media.

Before the election, the Congress promised to pay DAs immediately if it comes to power.
