Hyderabad, July 27 (Namaste Telangana): TGPSC has initiated corrective measures regarding the incident where OMAR sheets were found on the roadside. The ommarsheets for job placements have been taken seriously on the roads. Two section officers were suspended for negligence. Show cause notices have been issued to four other officers. The Commission has found that the contractor has been grossly negligent in the transportation and management of the records and has canceled the work order given to the said contractor. TGPSC said in a statement that an FIR has been registered against him.
The investigation is ongoing. The commission has revealed that these OMR sheets are related to the recruitment examination of Hostel Welfare Officer (HWO) held in 2018. There is no impact on the current recruitment. The commission said that the results will be declared in 2020 and it has been decided to destroy them as per the rules of destruction. It has been stated that this work has been entrusted to a contract and some OMAR sheets were found on the road due to carelessness during their movement. It said that all necessary measures are being taken to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
