Specialist Doctors Posts | Directorate of Secondary Health Care (Telangana Vaidya Vidhana Parishad) has released the results for Specialist Doctor Posts in Government Hospitals. The Medical and Health Services Recruitment Board (MHSRB) on Tuesday released the results for all 500 posts in General Surgery, General Medicine, Orthopedics and Radiology.
It is known that the government has issued a notification for the recruitment of a total of 1,616 Civil Assistant Surgeon (Specialist) posts with the aim of overcoming the shortage of specialist doctors in the hospitals under the Directorate of Secondary Health Care and providing better medical services to the people. In this, the process of filling 692 posts related to anesthesia, gynaecology, pediatrics and orthopedics departments has already been completed. Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha handed over the appointment papers to the selected candidates and the officials also gave them postings recently.
Recently, MHRB has released the results of 500 posts of General Surgery – 174, General Medicine – 166, Orthopedics – 89 and Radiology – 71. After the release of the provisional merit list, the examination of the certificates of the candidates has been completed and the final results have been declared. Officials said that the details of the selected candidates for the jobs have been made available on the MHSRB website. Health Minister Damodar Rajanarsimha congratulated the doctors selected for these posts. He wished the newly selected specialist doctors to work with dedication in providing quality medical services to the poor and middle class people coming to the government hospitals.
The minister reminded that 1,616 specialist doctor posts are being filled in 24 departments in accordance with the government’s objective of ensuring that there is no shortage of specialist doctors in government hospitals. He said that the process of filling 1192 posts has been completed as of today. The minister directed the officials of the recruitment board to complete the process of filling up the remaining posts as soon as possible.
