SIR Enumeration | Let's fight with 'Sir'.. If the right to vote is lost, it will be a problem for schemes and key documents!

SIR Enumeration | (Special Task Bureau) Hyderabad, July 3 (Namaste Telangana): Having the right to vote means being alive. That is why elections are so important in a democratic system.. Voter list is now more important. There is a lot of discussion on the process of special comprehensive revision (SIR) of the electoral roll currently going on in the state. ‘

Experts warn that there is a risk of losing the voter’s right to vote if there is any negligence during the amendment. If you lose your voter status, you will not only lose your right to vote in elections, but you will also not be able to get government schemes. Further, if the ‘Sir’ process is followed, the political parties are also warned that there will be a huge loss. To this extent, recent incidents in Bengal and Tamil Nadu are being reminded. As of last May, there are reports that 7.85 crore votes were deleted in ‘Sir’ conducted in 12 states across the country.

2.04 crore votes (13.21 per cent) were deleted in UP, followed by 91 lakh votes (10.9 per cent) in Bengal and 97 lakh (10.6 per cent) votes in Tamil Nadu. There are reports that some people in the state have not shown much interest in this process due to suspicions about ‘Sir’ and doubts in filling the documents. Experts suggest that all citizens should participate in the ‘SIR’ process in the state so that they do not lose their right to vote. If you lose your right to vote, you will not only lose your ability to vote in the elections, but you will also lose your key documents needed for identification in government offices, banks and post offices. The importance of voter ID is being reminded while applying for documents like passport, aadhaar, pancard. Further, it is said that the voter ID is being taken on the first basis for SIM card application, verification, travel within the country and KYC (Know Your Customer). Above all, it is said that voter ID is very important in the implementation of government schemes, and if the right to vote is lost, there is a risk of stopping those schemes. Keeping these things in mind, the intellectuals suggest that all the voters should be vigilant in the ‘SIR’ process and act carefully so as not to lose their right to vote.

Vote lost.. Passport stopped

R Rajagopal, former editor of The Telegraph newspaper, said that his passport renewal was stalled after his name was removed from the electoral roll during the ‘sir’ process conducted in West Bengal. In this order, experts are giving key suggestions to people. In the enumerator forms given in the ‘Sir’ process, it is suggested that the details of the voters’ list of 2002 be entered correctly. If the details are not known, it is said to take the help of the concerned authorities.

If the vote is lost, let’s come to the schemes

“If you lose the vote in ‘Sir’, will the government schemes come?’ Karnataka CM DK Sivakumar’s recent warnings now show the importance of voting among the people. DK Sivakumar gave an important warning in the wake of the start of the ‘Sir’ process in Karnataka on Tuesday. He warned that if one’s name is not in the voter list, not only the right to vote, but also the benefits of government welfare schemes may be lost in the future. Everyone must check whether their name is in the voter list. If the right to vote is lost, the benefits of government schemes are also likely to be lost,’ said Shivakumar.

‘Sir’ shock for Didi in Bengal

Political analysts say that if ‘Sir’ is neglected, there is a possibility of serious damage not only to the people but also to the political parties. 91 lakh voters were removed in Bengal in the name of ‘Sir’. As a result, Mamata Banerjee’s TMC vote bank has lost heavily in the recently held assembly elections in Bengal. It is understood from the statistics that the BJP has made huge gains in the constituencies where votes were removed in the ‘Sir’ process. BJP won all the 13 constituencies where 5 thousand votes were removed in the ‘Sir’ process. BJP won 50 seats in the deleted category between 5-15 thousand votes and 142 seats in the deleted category between 15-25+ thousand votes. Political analysts are of the opinion that the major reason behind the BJP’s victory was the massive elimination of minority votes sympathetic to the TMC. In total, BJP won 207 seats by defeating TMC with a margin of 5.04 percent votes due to the deletion of ‘sir’ process.

What is the cost of negligence?

Political analysts are of the view that the DMK lost power in Tamil Nadu due to negligence on the ‘SIR’ process. 97.3 lakh votes were recently deleted in Tamil Nadu in the name of ‘Sir’. The DMK party led by Stalin, which had won 133 seats in the last election, was reduced to 74 seats in the recent elections. Political analysts say that 15 of the 32 ministers in the previous Stalin government’s cabinet lost because of the 5-10 thousand votes removed in ‘Sir’.
