Shabad Murders | Hyderabad City Bureau/Kottur, July 13 (Namaste Telangana): Rajkumar, the accused in the Shabad murders that created a sensation in the state, was found dead on Monday. He committed suicide by drinking insecticide in the suburbs of his grandmother’s village Penjarla under Kothur Police Station of Rangareddy District.
On the information given by unknown persons, the police reached the spot and recovered the body of the maniac Rajkumar. According to the details revealed by Future City Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi, Rajkumar (28) of Daivalaguda, Shabad Mandal, Rangareddy District, killed the girl along with her mother and grandmother on Friday midnight on the grounds that a POCSO case was filed against him. Not stopping there, he also killed his wife who had been questioning him for some time in the POCSO case. He also killed two children by slitting their throats. After that, the incident came to light when he called his parents and told them everything. After that, Rajkumar disappeared after telling his parents that he was committing suicide.
The top police officers who entered the field formed 12 teams and carried out search operations. He was not found for three days. Meanwhile, on Monday morning, unknown persons called Dial 100 and said that a person died after drinking insecticide in the suburb of Penjarla village under Kothur police station. The police reached the spot and identified the person as Rajkumar. But cell phone was seized from the accused’s pocket and examined. In it, a 2 minute 26 second selfie video taken before the serial killings was found. He said that he had spent all his money on them, that he was in debt and that he had been sent to jail. He revealed that he has no life, so he is killing his family along with them. CP said that it was revealed that the accused had committed these murders according to the plan. They said they will send the cell phone to a forensic lab for analysis and try to find out more.
The funeral is over
Rajkumar’s body was shifted to the Chevella Government Hospital on Monday evening amid police security. When the postmortem was completed at night, the family members refused to take the body of Rajkumar. With this, the police and municipal staff completed the last rites at Chevella Vaikunthadham.
