Fishermen | Tragedy took place in AP. Seven fishermen who had gone to the sea in a boat from Visakhapatnam for fishing were lost due to the impact of the storm. Seven fishermen went fishing on 1st of this month. The family members conveyed this to them as the sea became rough due to low pressure. They called and said that they will reach home by 2 pm on Saturday. As there was no information from them till Saturday evening, the worried family members called them and the phones were switched off.
The Coast Guard and Marine Police were informed about this. On receiving the information, the Coast Guard, Navy and Marine Police launched a search for the missing fishermen. Six of the missing persons belong to Mukkam village in Bhogapuram mandal of Vizianagaram district, while the other one is a resident of Pedanagamayapalem in Bhimili mandal. Among the lost fishermen is K. Seethadu, Garagayya, Bandiyya, Amara Appalaraju, Meda Chinna Ammeru, Kari Chinna, K. Chinnayya. Full details to be known.
