Hyderabad: Telangana Employees JAC Chairman V. Venkanna, who was on duty in front of Bhupalapalli RTO office, was hit by a sand lorry and died on the spot. Lacchi Reddy stated. RTO Venkanna, who lost his life when a sand lorry rammed into him while inspecting the vehicles, expressed deep concern for the safety of the officers on duty. He demanded the government to conduct a full-scale inquiry into the incident and take strict action against those responsible for the accident.
Apart from providing adequate compensation to the family of the deceased, one of the family members has been asked to get a government job. He asked the government to provide necessary security measures to the officials conducting inspections with special focus on illegal sand transport across the state. On behalf of the JAC of Telangana employees, V. Lacchi Reddy and his family members wished for courage.
