Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (RTC) again strike siren. The RTC JAC (Joint Action Committee) has called for an indefinite strike since May 7, accused of not taking their demands with the government’s negligence. JAC leaders and employees, who have revealed that they are preparing for a strike with May Day, are beginning to fight for the fair rights of employees.
The labor parade will be held at the RTC uniform on May 5 to support the strike. The parade will be held from the RTC Kalyana Mandapam to the bus Bhavan, JAC said. The JAC leaders have criticized some unions for their favor. All communities have called on the unions to participate in the strike.
The Chief Minister demanded the merger of the RTC into the government and the rule of public interest. It is suggested that electric buses be purchased and operated by RTC ownership to prevent the threat of privatization. He also demanded the implementation of the 2021 wage amendment, paying equal salaries with government employees and to replace the retired 16,000 employees.
