Prajashakti – Cheerala: In the wake of rains, the roads in the town are full of water after the rain on Wednesday night. Mainly in the church center, knee deep rain water has reached the roads and the whole area is facing flood. Similarly, MGC Cloth Market Road, Mukkonapu Park Centre, Suresh Mahal Road, Duggirala Gopalakrishnaiah Park Centre, College Road in Kothapet have become waterlogged due to heavy rain. Meanwhile, the residents of that area were confined to their houses due to rainwater entering the houses in the low-lying areas of the Dandubata road. Due to the effect of rain, the education department officials declared a holiday for schools.
