Hyderabad, July 4 (Namaste Telangana): BRS leader and MLC Dasoju Shravan strongly criticized that what is going on in Telangana is not the rule of Congress ideology, but the ‘private franchise rule’ which is run on the orders of Prime Minister Modi. To this extent, he wrote an open letter to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday. The Telangana Cabinet has expressed strong objection to the approval of the VBG Ramji brought by the Modi government in place of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme which was brought by the Congress government in the past.
In his letter, Dasoju Shravan stated that the policy followed by the All India Congress Committee at the national level and the decisions taken by the Revanth Reddy government in Telangana are not compatible at all. He reminded that Rahul Gandhi had opposed VBG Ramji’s bill in Parliament. It is said that in Telangana, the passing of this law is shocking. He alleged that this is a direct proof of Revanth Reddy’s collusion with the BJP at the Centre.
Look at other states and learn
He said that the Congress-ruled Karnataka government not only opposed the Act in the Cabinet, but also approached the Supreme Court, while the Punjab Assembly passed a unanimous resolution and protested. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay recently wrote a letter to the Prime Minister stating that this policy will put an additional burden of more than Rs.5 thousand crores on the state budget. Dasoju Shravan complained that Telangana has surrendered to the orders of Modi-Amit Shah.
