Revanth Reddy Vote | Hyderabad, July 17 (Namaste Telangana): Chief Electoral Officer (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar said that after the ‘Sir’ process, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy will not have the right to vote in both seats. He spoke in New Delhi on Friday. Responding to the fact that CM Revanth Reddy has the right to vote in two places in Telangana, he said that after the ‘Sir’ process, there will be no such problem. Telangana Congress in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan also made key comments on Rajya Sabha nomination rejection.
He said that there is a provision to fill all the terms while filling the election nomination papers. He said that sometimes the election officials do not see it, but the political opponents point it out. If the opponents had not complained, the situation would have been different, he said. It was revealed that Meenakshi was given time to fill in the details of the court case, but she did not take advantage of it. He reminded that once the decision of the Returning Officer is taken, there is nothing within the purview of the CEC, even if Meenakshi Natarajan went to the Supreme Court, the decision of the RVO was upheld.
