Part-time teachers in CVO!
  • Dismissal of male candidates on the pretext of Geo1274
  • Appointment of male part-time teachers again in their place
  • Decision of SC Gurukula Society Officials
  • Unparalleled quality training for students

Hyderabad, July 26 (Namaste Telangana): CVOs and students of many Gurukuls are facing serious difficulties due to the behavior of SC Gurukula Society officials. There is a plight of not being able to get better training. Existing experienced regular male staff were sent elsewhere on deputation on the pretext of Geo1274. But again appointing male candidates in their place on part-time basis reflects ill-conceived decisions of the society. In 2007, a Center of Excellence (CVO) was set up in Alugunoor, Karimnagar district, to provide free coaching for the IIT and NEET exams to the students from underprivileged communities in North Telangana.

For the first time in the Gurukula system, the system of co-education was established here from 8th standard to intermediate education. But the Congress government abolished co-education in the same year it came to power. The CVO restricted the college to girls only. Subsequently, JVO 1274, Rule 22(A) (3) of the Telangana Subordinate Service Rules stipulates that only female staff should be filled in all posts in girls’ schools and educational institutions.

57 male staff members who were previously working in girls’ gurukuls across the state were sent on deputation to another gurukula on the pretext of the implementation of the Jivo. About 14 regular male staff members of Algunur CVO were also sent elsewhere on deputation a year ago. Well, have experienced women staff been appointed in their place.. That means no.

In place of the male staff sent in the name of Jeeves, the appointment of male staff who teach in private educational institutions on a part-time basis reflects the government’s attitude. The students of CVO are expressing their grief that they are not getting better training for a year due to the government’s decision. It is alleged that government officials are benefiting by appointing inexperienced private individuals as subject experts and paying them an honorarium of lakhs of rupees.
