Neglect of 'Sir'.. DMK is far from Peetha!
  • 97 lakh votes deleted in Tamil Nadu ‘Sir’
  • 50 seats which were lost by the difference of votes of Stalin’s army who ignored the process of Sir’

(Special Task Bureau) Hyderabad, July 12 (Namaste Telangana): Former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin came under fire last November saying that ‘Sir’ is being used as a political weapon and such games will not continue while he is in power. He had made many such statements before ‘Sir’. Result.. Despite many welfare programs introduced by the government, DMK lost power. It is noteworthy that Stalin said in the internal meeting of the activists after the results of the assembly elections that ‘Sir’ should not be neglected. With this, all the parties are paying special attention to the ongoing Special Comprehensive Amendment (SIR) of the electoral roll in Telangana.

Record polling with ‘Sir’
Tamil Nadu saw a record 85.1% voter turnout in the assembly elections held in April. This is 11.5% higher than the 73.6% recorded in the 2021 elections. Political analysts say that the main reason for this is the ‘SIR’ process undertaken by the Central Election Commission in that state at the end of 2025. It is said that there has been a massive purge in the voter list due to door-to-door verification of voters, unlike regular updates. It is recalled that about 97 lakh names were removed from the voter list during the ‘SIR’ process, including those who died, fakes and those who have gone permanently to other places, thus reducing the number of voters from 6.7 crore to 5.73 crore. As the number of voters decreased, the voting percentage was naturally higher. Analysts say that the reduction in the number of voters and the huge voting percentage has helped to oust the DMK government in the state and form a government under the auspices of the TVK alliance.

The ministers also lost
Many political analysts are of the opinion that the DMK lost power in Tamil Nadu due to the neglect of the ‘SIR’ process. The DMK alliance led by Stalin, which had won 133 seats in the last election, was reduced to 74 seats in the recent elections. Political analysts say that 5,000 to 10,000 votes were removed in each constituency for the defeat of 15 of the 32 ministers in Stalin’s government. Moreover, it is recalled that DMK has won more than 30 seats out of 69 seats in North Tamil Nadu and more than 20 seats in West Tamil Nadu with less than 10,000 votes. Analysts opine that DMK would have easily come to power if ‘Sir’ had been vigilant about the process.
