Warangal: The government has demolished a Kakatiya temple near Ashoknagar in Khanapur mandal of Warangal district. The rock temple within the premises of the integrated school built by Pabthvum was demolished with a bulldozer. It was demolished without the minimum permission of the Department of Archeology and Religion. Local MLA Donthi Madhav Reddy and the villagers are expressing concern that the temple was razed to the ground at the behest of the contractor.
