Manoharabad, July 12: Gajwel Constituency BRS Incharge Pratap Reddy has demanded that the government should immediately cancel the permits as the people are suffering due to the pollution released by the MMS Agarwal Steel Industry. BRS leaders along with the villagers organized a one-day diksha in Rangai Palli village of Manoharabad mandal of Medak district on Sunday to cancel the permits of MMS Agarwal steel industry.
Mms Agarwal said that due to the pollution of the steel industry, the air and water are getting polluted and people are suffering from serious illnesses. Due to the pollution, the agricultural crops are damaged and the farmers are facing financial difficulties. He said that the people of Gauraram villages of Rangai Palli trees are suffering due to the contamination of drinking water. He said that due to contaminated water in agricultural boreholes, there is a problem of drinking water as well as serious damage to crops.
He said that the industries are not giving employment to even one person and they are giving employment to people from Bihar and other states. He said that because there are no employment industries here, non-locals are getting jobs by using the resources here. He said that he will fight on behalf of the people until the industrial permits are cancelled. Villagers participated in this program.
