Several historic decisions were taken in the meeting of party general secretaries held at Erravalli on Tuesday under the chairmanship of BRS chief KCR.

Hyderabad, May 12 (Namaste Telangana): Many historic decisions were taken in the meeting of party general secretaries held at Erravalli on Tuesday under the chairmanship of BRS chief KCR. In this meeting which lasted for about six hours, KCR gave direction on the future activities of the party and organizational strengthening. It was decided in the meeting that this time the registration of BRS membership should be done in a completely digitized manner, similar to the digital procedures followed by the Election Commission of India. In 35,655 polling booths across the state, it has been decided to give special training to a total of 71,310 workers, two per booth.
It was decided to conduct training camps on digital membership process under the supervision of party general secretaries. Party Working President KTR, Deputy Floor Leaders Harishrao, Sabita Indra Reddy, Talasani Srinivasyadav, Council Floor Leader Sirikonda Madhusudanachari, Deputy Floor Leaders L Ramana, Pochalli Srinivas Reddy, MLC Dasoju were present in the meeting. Shravan, party general secretaries Chagandla Narendranath, Soma Bharat Kumargupta, former MP Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, former MP KR Suresh Reddy and former corporation chairman Mareddy Srinivas Reddy were present as special invitees.

These are the key decisions
- Along with the ‘SIR’ process undertaken by the Election Commission of India, the entire operation of voter list modification is being carried out in a digital process. In this context, the party membership should also be conducted in a digitized manner keeping the future in mind.
- For each constituency, a membership coordinator should be appointed from the state committee.
- Membership Coordination Committees should be appointed in 2-3 days for each mandal and municipal body wise membership registration.
- In view of digitization of membership registration, a total of 71,310 party workers should be given training classes at the rate of two workers per booth in 35,655 polling booths in the state. Training should be given on the procedures related to the digital membership process.
- Membership registration and training camps should be conducted under the leadership of party general secretaries.
