- Stagnation increments should be given like government employees
- Salary Revision Dues must be paid before retirement
- SWF proposals on 2021 PRC deal
Hyderabad, May 9 (Namaste Telangana): SWF has demanded to give master scale to RTC staff as well as government employees. To this extent, SWF president and general secretaries Veeranjaneulu and VS Rao revealed on Saturday that proposals have been prepared for the 2021 PRC agreement. They demanded that the rate of increment, which is changing after 8 years at present, should be changed every three years henceforth and that rate should be revised to the nearest hundred rupees and stagnation increments should be given for 6, 12, 18, 24, 30 years in RTC like the state government employees. As announced by the government, if the arrears related to the 2017 and 2021 wage revisions are paid after retirement, the RTC workers will suffer a severe loss and they will not receive the financial benefits of those wage revisions.
Keeping this in mind, they demanded that bonds be released to pay the 2017 and 2021 wage revision arrears with interest after three years. Stating that with the pay revision of 2017, there were pay anomalies in many cadres, juniors and seniors were fixed in the same basic pay. During the merger of RTC workers in the government, some difficulties are likely to arise due to lack of cadres like driver, conductor, mechanic and deputy superintendent. In order to prevent them, they appealed to upgrade the sales of some cadres in the 2021 salary revision and create a new assistant manager sale. Expressing concern that the RTC workers have lost Rs.450 crores in the last 9 years due to the non-revision of allowances during the 2017 wage revision, they demanded that the allowances for 2017 and 2021 should be increased by 200% to do justice to the workers.
