Hyderabad, December 15 (Namaste Telangana): The Central Committee and Polit Bureau of the Maoist Party have already taken a decision that ‘let’s leave the weapons and go to the people’. After almost three and a half years, it was learned that a proposal to give up arms came in the Politburo meeting held in 2024, while some agreed, while others opposed it. A document prepared to reach the decisions taken in the Politburo to all the cadres and committees of the country has recently come to light. In it, the long document mentions the decisions taken by the Maoist Party Politburo, the conditions in which the party is losing, the police operations that led to it, the reduced recruitments and the increased deaths of Maoists.
Telangana DGP Shivdhar Reddy handed over this document in the conference of DGPs of all states held in Chhattisgarh recently.. It is known that there was a long discussion on it. According to the document released by the Politburo, 683 Maoists have been killed in the past three years, and 190 of them are women. In three years, the Maoists conducted a total of 669 operations, out of which 261 policemen were killed, 516 were injured and more than 25 weapons were seized.
Decision to strengthen the cadre according to the situation
It is mentioned in the latest document that a decision was taken during the party week organized in 2019 to leave the weapons and join the people and strengthen the party cadre to adapt to the changing conditions. It is stated that the party has lost key leaders and the central committee as well as the state and zonal committees have failed to reverse the actions of the forces. It is explained that the party has become very weak in this order. It is stated that we have not been able to engage in class struggles to attract the mass base. Again in 2024 also in the politburo meeting, some insisted that weapons should be given up, while others insisted that the meeting was a failure. It is said that this meeting is also the reason for the split of the Maoist party.
