Lakshmareddy said that if the Palamuru Lift Irrigation is completed, the district will become greener. They complained that the government is neglecting the remaining 10 percent of the works. At the top he said that the state of Karnataka is carrying out illegal projects. He said that one lakh acres of water is watered only by the water that comes through the leakages of the gates. They said that now Karnataka is not releasing water by putting hydraulic gates. He made it clear that CM Revanth Reddy is responsible for ensuring that injustice does not happen to Mahabubnagar. They demanded that the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy project be completed immediately.
