Sangareddy: BRS Working President KTR said that the Congress government is filing illegal cases against BRS leaders with harassment politics. On Monday, BRS leader Manne Krishank was detained in Sangareddy Jail in illegal cases. Speaking on this occasion, KTR severely criticized the Congress government for targeting BRS leaders and filing illegal cases with revenge politics.
Manne Krishank is a highly educated, lawyer, Ph.D. He said that he fought in the forefront of the Osmania University student movement and took charge as the chairman of TSMDC after the formation of Telangana state. KTR alleged that for the past two and a half years, cases have been registered against Krishank because he has been questioning the corruption and irregularities of the government and bringing them before the people.
In cases where the sentence is less than four years, the station has to give bail, and it is wicked to put them in jail for 12 days and show them as ‘habitual offenders’. He stated that the cases were filed because the Congress government questioned the injustices. KTR criticized that the government is busy filing cases on social media posts instead of focusing on the increasing crimes in the state. The Government did not respond to the day-time firing in Karimnagar.
However, Eddewa said that he was vigilant about who tweeted. Alleging that the government is using the police system for political purposes, the chief minister expressed anger that the police are working like a private army. Actions like phone tapping, hacking and harassment of journalists are continuing. It is illegal to arrest Krishank without considering the orders of the High Court. He said that a contempt petition will be filed in the court on this matter.
We will not back down even if our leaders are harassed. Our struggle will continue until the promises given by the Congress government are implemented. No one should be afraid of BRS social media activists. Party legal cell will be with you. He said that justice and righteousness are on our side. Finally, he thanked the media for exposing the injustices of the government.
