The Jurala Project in the Gadwala district is ongoing. The project is flooding 1.40 lakh cusecs for the project with rains at the top. This led to the 12 gates and released the water to the bottom.
Mahabubnagar: The Jurala project in the Gadwala district is ongoing. The project is flooding 1.40 lakh cusecs for the project with rains at the top. This led to the 12 gates and released the water to the bottom. 1.15 lakh cusecs were released through the spillway and 25,691 cusecs of water were released through electricity generation. A total of 1,42,830 cusecs flood is out.
However, the full water level of the Jura Dam is 318.518 meters. The water level is currently at 317.190 meters. The total water capacity is 9.657 tmc and now there are 7.079 tmc.
