Journalist Remand | The Bobbili court has remanded Telangana journalist KVR till 14th of this month in the case of inappropriate comments against AP CM, Deputy CM and Minister.
Amaravati: The Bobbili court remanded Telangana journalist KVR till 14th of this month in the case of making inappropriate comments against AP CM Chandrababu as well as Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan and Minister Lokesh. Badangi Police arrested KVR (K Venkatarami Reddy) in Sarurnagar, Hyderabad on Tuesday night and took him to Bobbili Police Station in Vizianagaram district of AP.
On Thursday, when Bobbili was produced in the court, the judge remanded him to Bobbili jail. On April 10, Kandi Ramesh, the former sarpanch of Badangi, Vizianagaram district, lodged a complaint with the Badangi police against KVR for making obscene comments about the Constitution of India and the leaders of AP.
Last Tuesday, the police, along with Bobbili Village CI Srinivas, arrested KVR at his home and took him away after he ignored several notices to attend the hearing.
