Job Notifications | Hyderabad, June 25 (Namaste Telangana): A government job is a dream of years.. the reward of many sleepless nights. Many unemployed people wrestle as the target of the government measure. The cut-off date clause is dampening the hopes of some candidates. Especially the cutoff date rules are ruining the dream of students in the final year of degree and PG. Basically.. making it impossible to compete in competitive exams. Recently, TGPSC has issued many notifications for filling up the posts. The cutoff date is decided before the application link is opened. The unemployed are worried that this one small technical reason is turning thousands of people into axers. Those who are studying in the final year of degree and PG… those who have written the exams and are waiting for the results complain that there is a risk of losing the opportunity. Candidates want TGPSC to reconsider the cutoff date. They want the government and TGPSC to respond and amend and give them a chance.
How is the loss?
There are two types of loss with the cutoff date. If the certificates are not in hand before the cutoff date, there is a situation of not being able to compete for the jobs. A month, a month and a half time is given for submission of applications. During this period the results of the semester exams are released and there are situations where the memos cannot compete hand to hand. Such people are losing the opportunity to compete for these posts with very short duration. The Congress has given five notifications in the state in two and a half years. Will there be notifications again? That is doubt. Now those who lost their chance in Thruti have to wait for 8 years again.
The unemployed candidates are expressing their grief that this is a huge loss to the rural poor students. Candidates say that they do not understand what is involved in not deciding the cut-off date till the same date, when more than a month has passed for the application deadline. They complain that they are not getting the opportunity to study in Ashoknagar and Chikkadapally after taking loans.
In UPSC like this..
UPSC, the apex recruitment body of the country, has given some relaxations regarding the cutoff date. Candidates who are studying third year degree for Civils Prelims and those who are waiting for the results have also been given an opportunity to apply. Even if you have passed the final year of MBBS, you can write the exam even if you have not completed the internship. It is enough to show the educational qualification certificates at the time of document verification and interview after the exams are over.
The unemployed are questioning why the Telangana Public Service Commission has not adopted the same policy when the UPSC, which is a role model for the recruitment agencies in the country, has followed this policy. Some recruitment boards enforce a cut-off date for applications. At least this should have been taken into consideration. The leaders of the unemployed JAC are complaining that they are suffering due to non-compliance of such pro-student and unemployment policies.
Some examples..
The Commission has released a notification on 18th of this month for filling up the posts of Diet Lecturers. The cutoff date is fixed as 18th of this month. Acceptance of applications started on 24th of this month and will end on 29th July. Candidates having PG along with MED qualification can compete for this post.
Notification has been issued on June 5 for filling the posts of Deputy Educational Officer. The deadline for applications is from 12th of this month to 19th of July. June 5 is the cut-off date when the notification is released for those competing for these posts

A notification has been issued for filling up the posts of Assistant Executive Engineer in the R&B Department, and the cutoff date has been fixed as June 2. Applications can be submitted from June 8 to July 15.
