JNTU Sircilla | Rajanna Sirisilla, July 7 (Namaste Telangana): Rajanna Sirisilla has lifted the textile technology course in JNTU. The web option was removed in the latest engineering admissions for the course that was started here after Osmania University during the KCR government. It is known that this decision was taken because no one joined this course for three years due to lack of facilities and full teaching staff. During KCR’s regime, Rajanna Sirisilla district, which was a labor and charity field, was transformed into an education hub.
Medical, Agriculture, Nursing, Agriculture Polytechnic and Engineering Colleges were established on the initiative of BRS Working President KTR. In 2020, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) was sanctioned and 20 acres of land was allotted in Mandepalli suburb of Tangallapally mandal. An estimate of Rs.400 crores has been laid for the construction of the building. In 2021-22, it was temporarily started in a degree college in Agrahara, Vemulawada Mandal. In the first batch, 14 people joined the course and joined the jobs in 2025.
