Along with Ananth Lakshmikumar’s residence in Hyderabad, 8 locations were searched simultaneously in the houses of his relatives. 18 acres of cultivated land in the name of Kumar at Sangareddy, Nizamabad. It was found that there are 8 plots in Hyderabad. In searches Rs. 1.10 crore cash was seized. Moreover 2.1 kg of gold. 9.2 kg of silver articles were seized.
ACB officials estimate that the total value of the money, gold, silver and agricultural land seized on Tuesday would be 5.88 crores. However, it is said that the market value is likely to be higher. In the investigation, the details of Kumar’s corruption log and illegal activities will be revealed.
