KTR | Karimnagar, July 13 (Namaste Telangana representative): BRS Working President KTR has warned that the Congress government is harassing the farmers by not running the Kaleshwaram pumps and not giving water to the crops, and if the farmers lose their patience and turn, Revanth Reddy will suffer the same fate as Hitler.
The chief minister Revanth Reddy Kannepally, blocking the Sikhandi report given by the National Dam Safety Authority (NDSA), has flagged that he is paying usury to the donors by not turning on the pumps. Duyyabatta said that BJP-Congress colluded in this matter and the report that the CM is saying is not from NDSA but it is the report given by NDA government. Even now, the Shikhandi report has been set aside and the farmers and people have been kept in mind and demanded that the water should be removed. KTR visited Lower Maneru Dam on Monday at the request of former Minister and Karimnagar MLA Gangula Kamalakar. He checked the water level in LMD and talked to the reporters.
Report without doing any tests
KTR came under fire on CM Revanth Reddy’s excuses for not lifting water from Kannepally pump houses. During the last elections, if a single pillar was damaged in the Medigadda barrage, NDSA gave a report without doing any tests or even a soil test. He reminded that Anadu gave a report within 48 hours with the aim of promoting BRS in the elections, and then added many lies and gave the same report in the latest. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was indignant that he was playing drama by using the report as an excuse to cover up the mistakes made. BJP leaders along with Union Minister Bandi Sanjay demanded to answer the questions raised by them.
He asked that the Polavaram project is being built under the leadership of the same NDSA chairman, and if that project has already been washed away three times, why has the NDSA not gone there? During the tenure of CM Revanth Reddy, SSLBC tunnel collapsed and eight laborers were killed, Sunkishala returning wall collapsed and cost crores of losses, a large canal project was washed away and Wattem pump house was submerged, why did NDSA not go there. They said that even if bridges collapse in Bihar and dams in Gujarat are washed away, NDSA will not go away, but only on the Kaleshwaram project built by KCR in Telangana, Congress and BJP are playing a drama by obstructing the Shikhandi report. He emphasized that it was not the NDSA report but the NDA Sarkar report. He criticized Revanth Reddy as completely irresponsible by obstructing the meaningless reports and playing dramas and saying that the pumps will not be turned on until the NDSA says so.
CM is looking funny
KTR flagged that nine tmc of water is going down at Kaleswaram every day, while that water is being lifted through pipes in Andhra, but our Chief Minister is joking. All the reservoirs in the Godavari basin, including Sriramsagar project, Madhyamaneru, Lower Maneru, Varada canal, Annapurna reservoir, Ranganayak Sagar, Mallanna Sagar, have either overflowed their mouths. He said that the total capacity of the projects on Godavari basin is about 418 TMC and currently there is not even 86 TMC of water. He reminded that after Congress came to power within the scope of Sundilla and Annaram projects, the officials gave reports that grouting was completed. Retired engineers explained that if Kannepally pump houses are switched on and Medigadda, Annaram and Sundilla pump houses are run in parallel, there will be no problem.
Weather warning belt treatment?
KTR questioned how reasonable it is for the Chief Minister to give belt treatment to weather experts who have warned about the effect of El Nino. He said that he spoke to retired engineer Shyam Prasad Reddy. ‘We don’t feel well if your eyes are watering.. Don’t think anything, Shyamanna,’ he requested. He did not say a word. ‘Anna may be wise for him. I am a person in Telangana movement. I retired before coming to Telangana. Corruption took place in the Kaleswaram project after holding me. That includes you. He said that he felt sad that he would be sent to Charlapalli Jail. Shyam Prasad Reddy was an honest engineer. If he talks about the interest of the state, the Chief Minister is burning him,” they said. He warned that if we show our anger on farmers, on Kaleshwaram project, on retired engineers, we will get satanic pleasure. He expressed his anger that while Kannepalli pumps were not turned on, the pumps of Devada and Sitarama projects were also being neglected by not running them fully.
Even if there is a flood of lakhs of cusecs, it will not be washed away
Responding to a reporter’s question that the CM was saying that Bhadrachalam would be washed away, KTR said, ‘There was a flood of 28 lakh cusecs on July 22, 2022, like never before in the 500-year history of Godavari. This means that even if around 260 TMC of water flows from the Medigadda barrage at one time, Bhadrachalam will not be washed away’, he reminded. ‘If nothing happens then, if 9 TMC of water is lost, will it be washed away? Will anyone believe with a skull on his neck?’ He asked.
Farmers are crying
KTR lamented that the farmers are already saying that the motors are burning, on one side the ponds are drying up, on the other side the rivers are advancing, there is no water in the projects, and the farmers are expressing their grief that the old situation has returned. Looking at all this, there is fear that the suicides of rice donors will increase again. Revanth Redde recently said that let’s do politics for the last six months. We are working in the same spirit. There are no elections now. Currently there are no benefits to BRS. Kaleshwaram project was deliberately announced then.. Now El Nino drought conditions are not taken into account. That is why we are writing on behalf of the farmers’, he concluded. Water shortage for Hyderabad
KTR expressed his concern that all the projects including Ellampalli have gone ahead of schedule and if the water is not lifted, there is a danger of severe waterlogging in Hyderabad. It is mentioned that 15 thousand tankers are already being booked in Hyderabad. He warned that the drinking water needs of Hyderabad, NTPC and Jaipur power plants are also dependent on Ellampalli water and if water is not provided to them, they will have to face severe interruptions in electricity supply. Hitavu said that the chief minister is threatening to send the retired engineers to Charlapalli jail if they say the same thing, if BJP leaders like Etala Rajender talk about it, then he criticizes them for colluding with BRS, it is not appropriate to say that if BRS leaders are killed and their blood is sprinkled, crops will grow. Revanth Reddy reminded that they are ready to give only BRS’s blood if they feel that they want it, former minister Prashant Reddy has already asked for blood donation and drinking water in Mupkal. He said that if they donated blood at the party’s central office under the leadership of the BRS student wing and went to give that blood to Revanth Reddy, they were arrested and taken to the police station. Also, if the chief minister needs blood, they will organize a blood donation camp in Karimnagar and everyone will give it.
Revanth is scared
KTR objected that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is afraid that if the pumps are turned on and the water is lifted, it will be known that what he has been saying all these years is a lie. That is why he criticized the NDSA report for asking for political drama. “Leave the fear of people scolding… if we turn on the pumps and stand by the farmers… we will not go for the lies and nonsense that the Chief Minister has told all these years,” he promised. He said that even if KCR gives a small hint, they are ready to turn on the pumps, but KCR has told them to exercise restraint.
If the retired engineers say that they should run the three pump houses in parallel and coordinately and maintain limited water reserves, they should be put in jail. If the meteorologists warn that El Nino is coming, they should be beaten with a belt. He says he will file cases if BRS asks them to lift the water.. When the Congress people said that Madigadda had collapsed, NDSA came in just two days. A hundred more lies were added to the lies told that day and the report was handed over to the state government. By obstructing the Shikhandi report, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is jeopardizing the interests of farmers. It is completely irresponsible for the CM to say that the pumps will not be switched on until the NDSA says so.

Cultivate, give drinking water : Gangula
Former minister and MLA Gangula Kamalakar demanded that the Congress government should focus on providing irrigation water to the farmers and drinking water to the people under the LMD. He expressed concern that the areas dependent on the Kaleshwaram project in North Telangana are turning into desert. The capacity of LMD is 24 tmc but now there is only 5.6 tmc of water, he expressed concern. He said that in Karimnagar they have to take water through booster pumps and there are problems in water supply. They lamented that after another 20 days there will be problems even for drinking water. At least the government should see to it that there is no problem in drinking water. He said that in Manakondur and Huzurabad constituencies under LMD, farmers are suffering due to lack of irrigation water.
