High Court | The Telangana High Court has expressed its anger over the behavior of the Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao Memorial Cancer Foundation in Banjara Hills.
Hyderabad: The High Court of Telangana has expressed its indignation over the behavior of Nandamuri Basavataraka Rama Rao (Basavatarakam Hospital) Memorial Cancer Foundation in Banjara Hills. It warned that any delay in the treatment of the petitioner would have dire consequences for the hospital. The staff of Basavatharakam Hospital clarified that the treatment of a patient suffering from breast cancer does not come under the Arogyasree scheme and she has to bear all the expenses.
So she filed a petition in the High Court against Basavatharakam Hospital. The High Court heard the case and expressed its anger towards the hospital. Government subsidized private hospitals are suggested to provide free treatment to the poor. Basava Tarakam Hospital, which has got about 7.35 acres of government land on subsidy, has revealed that it will provide free treatment to the poor. The High Court warned that any delay in the treatment of the petitioner would have dire consequences for the hospital and ordered that she be immediately admitted to the hospital and given all necessary treatment.
