The other day the CM said that Union Minister Kishan Reddy should convince Maharashtra to build a barrage at a height of 150 meters. Isn’t Minister Vivek saying that an agreement was made for 150 meters. If there was an agreement then why to convince Maharashtra again, he asked. Speaking at the MLA camp office in Siddipet, Harish Rao said that when there is another government in the neighboring state, we should discuss with them and protect our interests by persuading them, but with Revanth Reddy’s provocative manner, he questioned whether the Maharashtra government would agree if he wrote an open letter to Kishan Reddy.

He questioned why the Chief Minister wrote a letter to Kishan Reddy if the agreement was made during Kirankumar Reddy’s tenure. He said that Revanth Reddy does not care about state benefits. He criticized Revanth Reddy for not behaving wisely like a statesman. He said that he is not working for the interests of the state except for politics. If they write an open letter to Kishan Reddy, will there be an agreement?
Harish Rao said that during the BRS regime, he went to Maharashtra and prayed that a barrage would be built near Tammidihatti. You are writing an open letter after two and a half years.. This is not a method to convince a state. He reminded that when the Congress was in power in Maharashtra, AP and Delhi, they could not be convinced at Tammidihatti. He criticized that the Congress lacked sincerity and could not be convinced even though it was in power in three places. He said that he has wasted seven and a half years. With this, the project cost of Rs.17 thousand crores has increased to Rs.40 thousand crores, he said. He questioned what they could not do when they had all the powers.
Harish Rao said that he would complete Pranahita in four years. He criticized that bills of Rs.2382 crores were raised in the name of survey mobilization advances without lifting the soil at Thammidihatti. He commented that talking about Congress corruption is like devils using the Vedas.
