Mahadevapur (Kaleshwaram)/Vajadu/Palimala/Mangapeta/Eturunagaram, Aug 20: The Godavari River at Kaleshwaram under the Mahadevapur zone of Jayashankar Bhupalapalli district The rituals set up at Saraswati Ghat were drowned. The maximum flow is 13.460 meters, while the current flow of the two rivers is 12.220 meters high, CWC officials have issued the first alarm. Officials have evacuated the traders’ shops on the river. The Godavari second alarm at Ramannagudem Pushkaraghat in the Etturunagaram zone of Muluga district is 15.910. Godavari is flowing at Bhadrachalam. A second alert was issued after reaching 48 feet at 10 pm. In the wake of the flood, the authorities have set up control rooms at the Bhadrachalam sub -collector’s office and ITDA.
Heavy floods to Jura
Gadwala/Aija/Srisailam/Nandikonda: Heavy rains have been flooded at the top of the Jurala project. The inflow of the project was 2,92,000 cusecs and 44 gates were lifted and 3,22,179 cusecs of water was released. Floods continue to flood from the Tungabhadra Dam to the Tunga and Bhadra rivers due to rains in the upper parts of Karnataka. Inflow of 4,87,037 cusecs to Nagarjunasagar
The Nagarjunasagar Reservoir is heavily flooded and the dam is being released to the bottom with the height of the dam 26 crust gates. The Nagarjunasagar Reservoir has reached 4,87,037 cusecs inflow from Srisailam and 12 gates in the dam 26 crust gates are 13 feet and 14 gates are released to the bottom of 3,99,008 cusecs.
