KTR | Fill up 20 thousand constable posts.. KTR's open letter to CM Revanth Reddy

KTR | Hyderabad, July 3 (Namaste Telangana): ‘Fill 20,000 constable jobs immediately as promised in the election manifesto. Give justice to the poor and middle class job seekers who have been waiting tearfully for two-and-a-half years,” demanded BRS Working President KTR. An open letter was written to Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Friday on behalf of constable job seekers.

The Congress, which promised to provide two lakh jobs every year, has failed to implement even after two and a half years. The letter mentions the hardships and tears of the police job seekers who have endured hardships for two and a half years and are wrestling with books day and night and running in the fields. He reminded that ‘water, funds and appointments are the slogan of the Telangana movement’. But he questioned how reasonable it is for the government to turn a deaf ear to the demands of the police job seekers who have been struggling to fill all the vacant posts for a few days. They strongly objected to the hand-wringing after giving a notification for the filling of only 5000 posts.

It is stated that those preparing for constable and SSI jobs are poor and middle class people from rural areas. The letter mentions that they have been living in rented rooms and hostels away from their parents for years and struggling day and night. He asked them not to dampen the hopes of poor and middle class children who are preparing for police jobs while facing hardships. He said that the onus is on the Congress government to do justice to them.

It has been revealed through RTI that 17,000 police posts are vacant and the CM and ministers have made announcements many times that there are 12,000 vacancies. But it is wicked to decide to release notifications for only 5 thousand jobs. They expressed their anger that this is drowning 15 lakh unemployed people who are waiting for police posts. In protest against the aloof attitude of the government, they expressed their grief that there is a situation where unemployed people are always on the road in areas like Dilsukhnagar and Ashoknagar.

Age limit should be relaxed

On this occasion, the Chief Minister of KTR put forward the fair demands of the job seekers. “15 lakh unemployed youth are preparing for police jobs. If only 5,000 jobs are filled, it will be a grave injustice to them. In these situations, notification should be given with 20,000 vacancies. According to the current JIV number 87, the age limit for SSC candidates is 35 years and for constable candidates is 32 years. But since it has been four years since the release of police notifications, there is a need to relax the age limit.

Relaxation is very important for lakhs of candidates. The age limit for constable candidates should be increased to 36 years and for SC candidates to 37 years. Same type of physical test is conducted for SSI and Constable candidates. When a candidate of 35 years of age is physically qualified for the post of SSI, it is not proper to deny the opportunity to the same 35 years constable candidate. In this context, the increase in age limit is desirable,’ the letter mentioned. Otherwise, it was announced that BRS will open the eyes of the government, which is acting like a sleeper, fighting on behalf of the unemployed.

47,000 posts were filled even though no guarantee was given

KTR reminded that 47,000 police posts were filled during the BRS regime without any assurance. In the new state, it has been revealed that 2,32,000 government jobs have been notified and more than 1,60,000 have been filled. It was explained that in 2016, 9,281 constable and 539 SCI jobs were filled, in 2018, 18,428 constable and 1271 SCI jobs were filled, and in 2022, 16,614 constable and 554 SCI jobs were filled. He reminded that the credit of achieving 95 percent local reservation and benefiting the youth belongs to the KCR government.

But the Congress is cheating by making promises in the name of youth declaration for votes before the election, he said. Gaddenekki has been criticized for filling only 17,000 jobs even after two and a half years. Unemployed Rs. They flagged that the promise of giving 4 thousand gratuity was blown. Duyyabatta said that a new drama has been opened to hit the credit of 50,000 jobs completed during the BRS regime. He demanded to keep his eyes open and focus on the appointments.
